A native of Mount Holly Springs, Pennsylvania, Dr. DeMuth was educated at Juniata College and The University of Michigan School of Public Health. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University Medical School and served his Orthopedic residency at the Milton Hershey Medical Center. He is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. He is board certified with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
