Dr. Polacheck is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and The Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society.

He was certified by The American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and has maintained his certification through the voluntary re-certification examination program.

Dr. Polacheck treats a variety of orthopedic problems for patients of all ages. He has special interest in shoulder, hip and knee problems and has had extensive experience in performing joint replacement surgery. His residency program included joint replacement training at the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In his total joint practice, Dr. Polacheck has years of experience with the Zimmer Hi-Flex and Gender Specific implants, minimally invasive partial knee replacements, and bone conserving Zimmer M-L Taper hip implants.

Dr. Polacheck practiced orthopedic surgery in Central Pennsylvania for fifteen years before joining The Orthopedic Institute of Pennsylvania in January, 2001.

Dr. Polacheck resides in Lemoyne with his wife, Mary Kaye Polacheck, Esq., their son Bill and their daughter, Lauren.
