A life long resident of Pennsylvania, Dr. Rubbo graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 1978. After attending Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, he completed a five year residency in orthopedics at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. His pediatric orthopedic training was completed at A.I. DuPont Institute in Wilmington, Delaware.
Along with general orthopedics, his interests lie within Sports Medicine and reconstructive Joint surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, The Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society and the Eastern Orthopedic Association.
