Gregory A. Hanks, MD
Dr. Hanks does general Orthopedic Surgery and has specialized training in Sports Medicine, focusing on knee and shoulder problems. He has authored several research papers and is a frequent speaker on a variety of topics in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy for the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons .

Dr. Hanks is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University from which he received his Medical Degree in 1982. He received his intern and resident training in Orthopedic Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia . He then pursued additional Fellowship training in Sports Medicine at Penn State .

He is a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine , the Arthroscopy Association of North America , the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons , the Eastern Orthopedic Society, and the Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society .

He currently serves as team physician for several local college and high school athletic teams.

Dr. Hanks resides in Hummelstown with his wife, Mary Susan, and their four children.
