Orthopedic Institute of Pennsylvania Announces New Surgeon
Podiatric surgeon is newest addition to team of doctors
CAMP HILL, PA. – Orthopedic Institute of Pennsylvania, a leader in family care, is pleased to welcome Jason M. Sweeley, DPM to the active medical staff.
Dr. Sweeley is a board qualified podiatric surgeon. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Following graduation, Dr. Sweeley completed three years of residency training with Pinnacle Health System in Harrisburg, PA. During his training he had the distinction of serving as Chief Resident.
Dr. Sweeley has advanced training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery as well as diabetic limb salvage. He has completed a micro-vascular surgery course at the Cleveland Clinic. His primary clinical interests include tarsal tunnel release and podiatric sports medicine. His treatment philosophy emphasizes conservative and non-surgical strategies to restoring foot and ankle health and function in both children and adults.
Dr. Sweeley is an associate of the American College of foot and ankle surgeons and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Sweeley joined OIP after practicing in the Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg area for several years. He enjoys the outdoors, sports, and spending time with his family. He currently resides in Mechanicsburg with is wife and their two young children.
