MRI Technologist – Part Time

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: MRI Technologist reviews MRI ordered and accesses which protocol to use. Proper
parameters must be used to obtain quality images for diagnostic purposes. Proper techniques must be used to obtain
quality films for diagnostic purposes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Performing MRI exams
  • Clinical duties
  • Filing
  • Other duties as assigned – i.e., maintaining equipment and supplies

EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program. Registration as an American Registered Radiologic Technologist
and Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist.
EXPERIENCE: Prefer minimum of 1 year work experience in a health care facility setting.

ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS:Work is performed in an office setting with some travel between offices. May be stressful at times due to multiple
projects and priorities. May deal with angry or upset patients.

PHYSICIAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Work requires hand dexterity, stooping, bending, and sitting. Employee must possess visuals and auditory acuity in
order to communicate with physicians, co-workers, patients and outside customers.
