Billing & Insurance

All charges are due and payable within 30 days of receipt. Co-Payments are due at the time of service. Itemized receipts are distributed for reimbursements by your insurance company when necessary. Regardless of third party payments, the ultimate responsibility for payment of an account rests on the patient or the responsible party.

If your health insurance plan does not appear on either list, please call our billing department for verification.

Our billing statements are sent out on a monthly basis through our billing department. For your convenience, we accept cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and CareCredit.

OIP Participates with all major insurance plans.

OIP does not participate with the following insurance plans:

  • Carefirst with prefixes XIK, QXK, QXL
  • Cigna Medicare Plans
  • Cigna Medicare HMO
  • Geisinger PEBTF Custom HMO
  • GHI/EMBLEM HEALTH – OIP does not accept this as a primary insurance. We do
    accept it as a secondary insurance plan.
  • Horizon EOP Silver – OIP accepts other Horizon plans.
  • Keystone First
  • Keystone Health Plan East
  • Keystone Health Plan West
  • Medical Assistance products from outside of Pennsylvania
  • UPMC All Plans Tower/Berks County
  • UPMC for Life HMO Premier Rx – Tower/Berks County (PSP 2)
  • UPMC for Life HMO Rx – Tower/Berks County (PSP 2)
  • UPMC for Life PPO Rx Enhanced – Tower/Berks County (PSP 2)
